Mike Andrade enlisted in the US Navy in 1967 serving in the Vietnam War (BootCamp in San Diego) and retired in 2009 as E-7 BMC(EXW/SWCC). He was aboard the USS Annapolis and the USS Cowell. He served in Special Boat Unit XI, Mobile Undersea Warfare 103, Naval Special Warfare Group I, and Naval Special Warfare Boat Unit 113.
